Representatives of the 56 OSCE participating States have gathered in Warsaw to review the progress they have made in implementing commitments relating to human rights and fundamental freedoms.

The Warsaw part of the Review Conference is the largest regional human rights event in Europe this year.

Civil society groups worked in the sessions and they had the chance to discuss with government representatives.

UBE took part on the Side event “Promotion of gender balance: additional competitive advantage of a state” organized by the Union of Women Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan, then of the Side event “ Freedom of movement of

Roma moving towards positive policy responses” organized by ODIHR Contact Point for Roma & Sinti Issues/ European Roma Rights Centre/ Amnesty International.

On 6th of October UBE participated in the Working Session 7 Tolerance and Non-Discrimination I including

* Implementation of the OSCE Area Action Plan of Roma & Sinti
* National Minorities

UBE this same day organized the Side Event “Effective participation of Ethnic Communities Vulnerable to Racial Discrimination in public life in Western Balkan”, planned within the framework of the same titled Action financed by EU. In a side event were presented the project activity, outputs and results, as well as we facilitated open discussion for further projects and activities related with issues of effective participation of ECVRD in public life. Participant in a side event were:

On this Side Event after the presentation of the project the participants were interested about the project activities, the results and the participation of the persons belonging to ECVRD. At the same time they shared their experience regarding ECVRD, their knowledge and at the end the conclusion was that we must continue to work on the improvement of ECVRD
